Played a little MadWorld (just the first area, to that first boss with the ball and chain), and yeah, it's really cool. I'm trying not to play too much of it at one time, though, because I heard it's pretty short. :/ Anyway, it's fun and all, but MY problem is, I have trouble getting creative with the kills. Most of the time, I just end up running around, slashing poor bastards with my chainsaw, and doing some finishers when given the opportunity. When I did get a little more creative, it was fun, but I found myself just doing the same thing over and over. Boss fight was pretty fun, though.
Commentary is gold. Love the art style. Argh, there was something else I really really wanted to add, but I can't think of it.

There's plenty of stuff to use, man. Experimentation is great. Like, I wiped out a huge group of guys and then I was like, "Holy crap, I could've been beating people with this row of chairs! And I could've thrown this huge suitcase of CASH at 'em to distract 'em while I beat 'em up!" Hell, the big bull enemy with the double chainsaw? I guess you can fling guys at him and impale them on his head. And if you've used the flaming drum to finish an opponent, you can use THAT as a weapon, too!

Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles A "sequel" to Umbrella Chronicles, you can now play through the events of Resident Evil 2 where Umbrella Chronicles seem to have skipped. wii.ign.com/articles/962/962316p1.html

New Wii system update (out now) allows not only the usage of SDHC cards, but allows you to actually run games off of them from a new little SD menu. Seems like a handy feature, but I don't have an SD/SDHC card, nor have I really bought very much from the VC/WiiWare to need it, but still a nice feature to have.

This is seriously CHOICE. It may not be the best solution but it's A solution and maybe can buy them some time to work on something else. I think this will make the Wii a more competent system I think you still need to have the save data on the Wii itself though which is kinda odd.

Actually, no, this is the way it should've been since day one. The weird thing, yes, is that you still need to have save data on the Wii's system memory, but, doesn't that make more sense anyway?
I mean, fuck, if you go and buy a 32gb SDHC memory card, you should never, ever, ever, evvvvvveerrrr have any kind of memory problems on the Wii. And since the SD Menu has 200 slots for VC/WW games, then, you'll never run out of stuff to play, either.
I just can't believe it took them this long to do this. :T
Oh, and VCArcade is cool, too. BRING ON SPACE HARRIER AND AFTER BURNER! AND THEN GODDAMNIT, SEGA, MAKE A NEW ONE WITH WIIMOTE TILT CONTROL (w/ motion plus support, plxkthx).
[edit:] PLUS, now that you can have a huge amount of storage space, the potential capacity for DLC just expanded big time!

I guess i"m just a little extra excited now that they FINALLY got it right!! (Just like Spike finally got edits in match maker mode for FP:HD!) I'm looking forward to downloading more VC stuff now that I have the room for it Also - anyone catch that there's a sequel to FFIV coming out on Wiiware? Apparently it was already released in JP mobile phone format but now it's coming to the Wii. FFIV was a quality game - but what's relevant to me is that this is the second "sequel" to a Final Fantasy game (the first being FF X-2) and this is in the pre-FFVII series. ... FFVI sequel in the horizon? I don't know if I'd be able to handle it Heck, I don't know if people around me could handle me handling it! ;D

I mean, I loved the GBA release but a DS one in the style of FFIV and FFIII DS would have been big time. Of course, I'd still buy an FFVI for the DS in that same style if they decided to do it

Cuz they got to Final Fantasy IV before the president of Square Enix said "NO MORE FUCKING REMAKES! GOD! KNOCK IT OFF!" > So, yanno, of course they do that right before making a game people'd WANT. I need to go price me a 32gb SDHC card. Wheeeeehehehehehee.

So, I was bored, right? And idle hands are the Devil's playthings, right? So I'm convinced now that Mega Man 9 is the Devil. I'm just so hilariously bad at the game. It's embarrassing, actually.

MM9 is really a lot of mastering of the stages. I'm not sure I heard anyone be able to just jump into the game and play it competently on the first try. It took me a bunch of boards and lives to really get used to it. Then I actually played it again this past week after a few months of not playing it and almost got totally trounced again. I think a few months cut like 50% of my performance
