I hoping Rivers can hold up and only really need Palmer when Rivers is on a bye week.

I can't believe nobody drafted Umenyiora in a 10 team league.
But, then again, I've never played in a IDP league, that just seems wacky to me.

Here's my fantasy team (8 team league, snake draft):
QB: Tony Romo RB: DeAngelo Williams RB: Pierre Thomas WR: Calvin Johnson WR: Randy Moss Flex: Anquan Boldin TE: Vinsanthe Shiancoe D/ST: Packers K: Jason Elam
Bench: RB Ryan Grant RB LenDale White WR Desean Jackson WR Dwayne Bowe RB Jamaal Lewis WR Brandon Marshall
My last 3 picks were the TE, D, and Kicker. My theory is, if you lose the game because of them, it's either a fluke, or because the rest of your team sucks. I don't see the point in getting a backup QB either, when you're only gonna use him for one week, and there are too many good RBs and WRs to pass up.
I expect to dominate.

I play with friends and some of them know almost nothing about football, so some players might fall through. One of my friends drafted Kyle Orton in the 4th round and Antonio Gates went in the 3rd. We did an offline draft so it was kinda messy trying to keep track. Also, normally the DL spot could fit LBs and DEs, but none of us knew they changed the DL to DEs only this year until after the draft. LBs would be ideal for the DL spot because they get the most tackles on defense most of the time. DEs are inconsistent with tackles and sacks so it made them somewhat unreliable. Also, Osi Umenyiora was injured last year so my friends hesitated to take him.
You have an impressive looking team, hope you win. I had an impressive team last year but I kept hitting a bad break over a bad break. I started out 5-0 and completely dominating everyone and then I started to get unlucky. Each week I would lose to the highest scorer and I was always the 2nd highest scorer. I ended up losing about 7 in a row before getting my next win. I was the highest scorer in the league and I barely made it into the playoffs with the last spot and I lost in the first round. My team last year consisted of
QB: Drew Brees RB: LaDainian Tomlinson, Michael Turner, Chris Johnson, Frank Gore, Thomas Jones WR: Reggie Wayne, Greg Jennings, Marques Colston

The entire Bengals team looked horrible today. Since Anthony Gonzalez got himself injured today, I am going to need someone to replace him. After the Bengals game today, I don't think Laveranues Coles should be the guy that would replace him. In fact, I think I might drop him. Lee Evans, depends on what he does tomorrow, but I don't think he could be the guy either.
I'm thinking about dropping Coles for Laurent Robinson from the St. Louis Rams. Good move? Maybe Patrick Crayton instead?
On Friday, I dropped the Chicago defense for Seattle defense, turns out to be a good move.
Also, I think the Carolina Panthers need a new QB.

Carolina needs a new offense, not just the QB. Though, he's crappy enough for me to know about it, and that says a lot. What was it, 12 turnovers in 8 quarters of play?
And of course the Bengals looked like crap. They're the fucking Bengals.

I'm not sure about a new offense since they do have DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart, and Steve Smith. But Steve should know more than I do.

No one played well yesterday, but what stuck out to me was the offensive line play. One, maybe two of Delhomme's INTs were purely bad throws, but most of the time he was just getting raped in the backfield. One play that stood out in particular to me:
Ok, for those of you that don't know football, there are 5 players on an offensive line, and only usually 3-4 of the defensive line. Logically, that means there are enough offensive linemen to handle the D-Line and at least one other blitzing player. One one play, Philadelphia had 4 D Lineman, and they rushed a Linebacker as well. 5-on-5, right? Well, not quite. Even though our best offensive lineman Jordan Gross had his man completely locked up, and didn't need any help, one of our tackles decided it was better to double team him anyway, and practically ole the linebacker as he stepped out of his way and gave him a free path to Jake.
I'm not saying Jake wasn't awful yesterday, but you take who you want. Brady, Manning, Rothlisberger... nobody was winning behind that line yesterday.

The San Diego Chargers vs Oakland Raiders game was so hard to watch. I needed Phillip Rivers, LaDainian Tomlinson, and Antionio Cromartie to get me 15 pts to win in fantasy. This didn't happen Rivers threw that TD to Vincent Jackson in the 4th quarter. I won by 10 pts, close one.

Here I was worried about my receivers, but I should be worrying about my running backs. Matt Forte has done nothing so far and LaDainian Tomlinson is killing me two years in a row. I still don't really trust Cedric Benson yet. Kevin Smith has been decent but is getting no yards on the ground.
I picked up LeSean McCoy hoping Wesbrook will miss some time, but I'm not sure. Correll Buckhalter might be a good choice.

Who're the top ten backs currently on your waiver wire?

Correll Buckhalter Ricky Williams Heath Evans Derrick Ward Michael Bush Donald Brown Le'Ron McClain Justin Forsett Ahmad Bradshaw Fred Taylor
Derrick Ward is going to start with Cadillac injured, maybe I'll pick him up and bench Cedric Benson vs Steelers.

Wow, there's not much depth there. I guess Ward would be the best play.

I dropped LeSean McCoy for Derrick Ward on Friday night. Then, on Sunday morning, I hear that Brian Westbrook is out of the game so I dropped Derrick Ward and repicked up LeSean McCoy and it turns how to be a very very good decision.
