Yeah that was part of it. But swap out Delhomme for Vinny Testverde, or John McCown or Matt Moore, or any other alternative we had available, we don't make the playoffs.

Just wondering what you all think about Vick having a job as a pro football player still after all of his shit. Comments? Bring on the "he's served his time" comments...

Well, considering that the NFL let someone back that killed someone in a drunken car crash, yeah, I think Vick served his time.

Just wondering what you all think about Vick having a job as a pro football player still after all of his ***. Comments? Bring on the "he's served his time" comments... I've got five dogs. And if I ever saw somebody doing what Vick did to any dogs, wouldn't even have to be mine, I'd feel compelled to find the nearest shank and put it in their neck. Nevertheless, I have no problem with him being back in the league. Only difference between Vick and anybody else is that the screwed up stuff he did came out publicly. I'd be a hypocrite to condemn somebody else after all the stupid stuff I've done. And, from a purely football standpoint, I'm pissed that Carolina didn't sign him first.

Usain Bolt broke his own world record in the 100-meter dash today. 9.58 seconds, beating his 2008 Olympic Gold Medal winning run by .11 seconds, (which is mind-bottling), and beating American Tyson Gay (who set a new American record in the run) by strides in the process. I wonder if making him wear a red uniform'd make him run even faster...

I'm surprised somebody hasn't tried to pay him to experiment with different methods like that. At the very least, a lot of people would watch a special.

Give it a month or so, the IOC will be all over that dude talking blood doping or steroids, and Mr. Gay (lol!) will end up with the record, just Like Ben Johnson and Carl Lewis back in the day.

Another "losers in sport" story, What are we doing wrong? How are these fucking deadbeats getting away with this shit? If any of us pulled off crap like this, we'd be in the chair, or rotting in prison, but this millionaire prick is headed to the OLYMPICS...

I wanna know how drunk he had to be to get pissed over 20 cents... You know, I think a lot of it has to do with being bred to believe you're actually more important than everyone else from a very early age. These assholes are courted by scouts from pro teams, farm teams, and schools from the time they're 12 or 13 years old! I've had MANY run-ins with members of Team Canada's wonderful national hockey team in high school and after, as well as members of the Oilers, and they're disgusting, soulless, gluttonous fucks that truly believe if you're not there to serve them, kiss their asses, or fuck them, you're worthless. In a way, fans are to blame, buying jerseys for $200+ dollars and paying top dollar for seats at games, leading to 16 year olds being given signing bonuses in the millions of dollars to play for some team in the NHL. Nurses, doctors, cops, EMTs, firefighters, soldiers, and a shitload of others that I've left out SAVE LIVES every day, what do pro sports players do to "earn" in a year what would sustain an entire city block of people for close to a lifetime? Another year of football means another year of fantasy football against my friends. This year the league is packed with 10 players so there is no room for error. My team looks like this:
QB: Phillip Rivers, Carson Palmer RB: Matt Forte, LaDainian Tomlinson, Kevin Smith, Cedric Benson WR: Calvin Johnson, DeSean Jackson, Anthony Gonzalez, Lee Evans, Laverenus Coles
TE: Jeremy Shockey K: Jason Elam DEF: Chicago Bears
D: Lance Brigs DB: Charles Tillman, Antonio Cromartie DL: DeMarcus Ware, Shawne Merriman
I feel that my WRs are my weak point.

I think your weak point is being on the Bears' nuts. ;D

lol
But defensive players doesn't mean that much especially now the DL slots can't fit LBs anymore so I had to change it up.
Dropped Lance Briggs and Shawne Merriman for Alex Brown and Osi Umenyiora.
