So, I did my taxes last night, and have a sizable return coming (approx $400ish) to me by the end of next week. Also, this is a 3 payday month, and we're coming up to end of quarter bonuses for us, and this all adds up to something I need to do. My laptop, the fabled and famous Steve the Computer, is in dire need of replacement. My computing needs are not very dynamic: - Must play music via WinAmp - Must have internet functionality (AIM, etc.) - Must play Team Fortress 2/World of Warcraft/X-Com - 4chan browsability optional This is what I'm looking at currently: www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10859171I am a very cheap bastard; I'd prefer to order via walmart.com because of my employee discount - also, site to store delivery means free shipping, just so long as I don't mind a 2-3 week wait. I've avoided Best Buy because of some real bad experiences buying computers from them in the past, but the question lies in that I am a fool, and thus, may not be seeing the best deal. Where else should I be looking to try and find a better deal, so I may save money and/or live better?

Screw the laptop, go with escorts, a limo, and a bag of blow. PS: j/k... ;D
Get a snazzy new laptop and a bottle of Mana juice or whatever the stuff is called (unless you're undead.).

All of your advice is helpful in its own ways.
But, hookers and blow sounds right.
