So, after a long day and too much coffee, I found myself unable to sleep. Not in the mood to read or play any games (I've got that "waiting for FPR and nothing else will fill the void" gaming boycot going on right now), I flipped on my arch nemesis, the TV! After scrolling through countless infomercials for Girls Gone Wild, Bowflex, and Bibles on DVD, I stumbeld upon an interesting looking little show called Inuyasha. I know it's been on for a while, but I finally gave it a chance a short time ago, and I'm glad I did. The stories and characters are quite interesting, and not quite as juvinile as some of the shitty, toy/game driven anime out there these days. Inuyasha is certainly for an older audience, and it's mere presence on TV is an indicator that Anime, a cartoon medium for story telling, is becoming recognized as something that doesn't have to be for CHILDREN! Amazing! What will they do next, figure out that VIDEO GAMES aren't all for kids? Anyway, peep it out sometime. If you hate it, throw an egg at me and send me a bill for the time you lost out of your wakeful hours. If you like it, you're far cooler than I ever anticipated you were!

Inuyasha is worth the love anybody in the Dump can pour upon it. WORTH IT, DAMN YOU!
To continue Jon's anime topic, I find Naruto (on Sat. Nights during Toonami) to be pretty good.

I heard they botched Naruto pretty bad. Not surprised, tho. Who got their mitts on it? Fuckin' FUNimation?
Anyway, I enjoys myself some InuYasha, too. I get a bunch of flack from it at home, too; have to wait 'till the later showings or else I'll have to put up with roommates spouting off stupid crap.
I haven't seen either of the movies yet, and I'm kinda lost on the new set of episodes. I've seen episodes on-and-off with the whole "Band of Seven" set, so I can't really tell how the story is working out there.

Naruto is the first Manga I've bought in years (that and Fist of the Blue Sky). I'm interested to see the North American adaptation of the story, but I don't have Toonami or any shit like that that carries the series.
PS: I miss Kinnikuman (Ultimate Muscle).... If the FPD fantasy moves are back, and there are mask editor parts that let me pull it off, watch for a King Muscle dit! *crosses fingers*

Yeah, so if I ever, like, get the game I'll be right on it. STARMAN is always the first edit I make (if not Mr. Head Drop), so I'll have him ready to go, too!

Dude, STARMAN rocked ass. I just have to wonder, how do you round out the moveset of a wrestler who's centered around the flying cross chop and the shooting star press?

While getting back to the topic of Inuyasha, while I was down at one of the distribution points for a few days, I got to talking with one of the medics, who I honestly believe is the coolest person on the planet that isn't me. Anyway, she mentioned that she watches Inuyasha, and the first thing that popped into my head was "Do the Miroku bit!" Sadly, there were people around, and I doubt any of them would've gotten the joke, and I probably would've gotten into trouble. I told her about that a couple days after we got back from the distribution point, and she laughed. S'always a good sign.
