I'm only an hour and 45 minutes into it, and there has already been a scene with a guy getting 2 fingers cut off... The outlook looks good.

Let us know if one of the chapters has you ringside at an All Japan or NOAH event.

For some reason, PRIDE didn't even come to mind. I guess when I saw that, the first thing that popped into my head was the part in Pure Dynamite where Dynamite Kid is talkin' about the yakuza guys hanging around Inoki. -shrug-

Okay, can ANYONE come up with a few good reasons why I shouldn't be JACKED about this game? Be sure to check out official trailer 3. I am a WHORE for vids.

I...i don't believe this... Kutaragi expressed doubts about Sony hardware! "In an extraordinary public statement of regret and despair over having to postpone his company's PlayStation 3 debut in Europe and Australia until March, and to limit availability elsewhere to only 500,000 units come November, Sony Computer Entertainment President Ken Kutaragi is quoted by Reuters as having told reporters, "If you asked me if Sony's strength in hardware was in decline, right now I guess I would have to say that might be true.""I'm having trouble believing this article is true...it's so NOT Sony..it's like they are admitting they have a problem! Things may be even worse then we know over there if its gotten to this point.

Honesty, in the world of BUSINESS?!?! Say it ain't so! Is the sky falling? What's next, honest politicians? LMAO! This is a ploy, gaining public trust by revealing a diversionary Achilles Heel, a "we're flawed, can you believe it?" statement. To quote a legend in his own mind, "LIES AND FAGGOTRY!".

Actually, this is a fairly solid business plan - when Kutaragi steps down amidst the failures of Sony from his position, he's got a solid step into any other high profile position. Admitting the flaws of the company is also a good way to kinda placate the shareholders, and whatnot.

Tee hee... Yakuza spoilers, don't read if you want surprises!
I was playing last night, trying to enter the funeral home/Tojo HQ (whatever...) after picking up the mourning badge (you can enter from the back door a la Sleepy). I see this big, bald dude in a suit standing by the back door, and I think, "man, this guy looks a lot like Tadao Yasuda", then he attempts to send my to hell, and what do I notice as I'm stomping the last breath out of him? His name IS Yasuda!
Sega should have worked Mutoh, Misawa, Kawada, Kobashi, Chono, and Hashimoto into this game, fo REAL! Didn't they see the potential when they looked at the cover of KoC2?
PS: So far, it's AWESOME!

I seem to remember Urban Reign had a yakuza character who's moveset was very obviously borrowed from Chono, complete with Yakuza Kick and a very painful-looking STF.
