Sure it wasn't until the summer of 2001, but whatever, it is 2011 now.
I no longer have interested in efedding, mostly from finding out how horribly broken the Fire Pro games have been over the years (thanks JB you scum!) and from trying to watch current wrestling and just hating it. I've met some people through Fire Pro, and through efeds, that I never would have met otherwise. Some of you I still chat with, some disappeared, some hate me now, some I hate now, and some I am just indifferent to at this point of my life.
Some times were bad and stressful, and they shouldn't have been. Some times were nasty and cruel, and they shouldn't have been either. A lot of it was fun, and those fun times were amazing. Thanks to you guys who helped make this hobby a fun hobby, and my apologies to those whom I hurt for no reason other than being a stupid kid with the anonymity of the internet helping me be more stupid than I ever could be in person.

It's been 8 years for me. Got into it in late 2002 with GWF/PW-W. Kinda crazy how the time has fllies and how people have progressed in their lives since then. The broken FPR doesn't bother me so much though. I've actually had a lot of fun the last year with FPR in general (and specifically e-feds) and have improved my edit making (in spite of finding out how broken FPR is). But I can understand those who are annoyed with the engine (you aren't the only one who's tossed FPR aside as a result) or just haven't been as into wrestling in general. While I've caught some bits of pieces of WWE that I don't hate, I've largely been out of the loop since Benoit's incident. But that hasn't really affected my FPR/e-fed interest because by that point "real life" wrestling had become secondary to my feds anyway. In any case. happy e-fedaversary and if you ever want to get FPN back up, you let us know And even with you not in e-feds, it's good you're still in the community (and not just cause you helped my Makoto not suck ;D ). Happy New Year, Duff, hope it will be a good one

I don't remember when I started, but it has been a fun ride and I apologize to those that I've annoyed.

Is that a multiple choice question?

No; it's a multiple-disappointment question.

Speaking of Fire Pro games, does anybody want the Fire Pro Wrestling Returns game on the PS2?
It's just sitting here collecting dust and I won't get much for it by selling it or trading it in. I just wanna give this thing away.

I started shortly after the first Fire Pro game for the GBA came out. What's that, like, nine years? Moto and NDP were my first (and, well, only) real e-fedding experience. I did start my own little original promotion, and its own little cast of characters, and I ran with it for about 6-7 years; despite still having interest in writing it, and having lots of ideas, I just haven't been able to keep up with it, unfortunately.
If you missed it in the e-fed topic on the other forum, for 2011, I'm going to be doing a farewell show for my fed. I'll likely start putting together the card in the next couple of months, probably do most of the writing over the summer, touch it up and perfect it in the fall, and then post it for the end of the year.
In the weeks leading up to the actual show, I plan to post a few "interviews" with my characters about CEP, its history, its closing, and the feuds going into the farewell show. It'll probably be pretty campy, and I know it's kind of silly for me to want to put so much effort into this, but hell, I've had lots of fun writing this thing for all these years, and I really want to give it a lot of closure, rather than just constantly falling off with it.
@ moto, as far as Matt Shane goes, I'm not necessarily "retiring" from NDP, too; I just want to wrap up CEP once and for all. I'll keep backing Matt Shane as long as NDP is still (technically) around.

I like the "technically" part. Seeing that sure don't make me feel like a lump. :/

Actually... I think I've sort of changed my mind. I really want to try and fully tell all the stories I wanted to with CEP, first, even if it means having to go back and post old shows I haven't posted yet.
That's not to say a "farewell" show isn't coming, but it's sort of postponed indefinitely. I basically just want to set up for it better, and properly develop the stories, and everything. Depending on how much I can get done, I might even try to continue on CEP for a few more years before building towards a "farewell" show.

I wouldn't consider the past decade a waste.

I wonder if vampires pass their time in e-feds.
...
I wonder if vampires exist.
And if they do, whether they prefer text based e-feds over video/game ones.
Hmmm.

Yeah, STEVE. It's only a waste of time if you didn't get anything out of it.
And at the very least, you made a couple buddies, am i rite?
